Digital operation of industrial and logistics real estate: “Mach2” relies on qprem

The project developer Four Parx, Dreieich, which specialises in industrial space, relies on qprem from qprem qualified premises GmbH for the digital operation of the first double-storey commercial and logistics property in Germany, “Mach2”. The solution enables the holistic operation and management of industrial and logistics real estate via a software platform and networks people, buildings and connected technologies and systems as a digital ecosystem with the help of a mobile app. This leads to greater efficiency and cost optimisation for real estate users. Qprem is used in facility management by WISAG, a service company based in Frankfurt am Main.
“The goal of our FM team for Mach2 is to develop a holistic and sustainable concept. In order to optimally design the processes, we rely on the multifunctional software solution from qprem. In this way, we are creating the prerequisite for the development of a smart building from which users will benefit in many areas of application,” says Ralf Pilger, Managing Director at WISAG Facility Management Holding GmbH & Co. KG.
In four key segments within the operation of industrial and logistics real estate, Access, E‑Mobility, Parking and Maps, qprem offers respective solutions. With a smart infrastructure, it enables digital entry and access control, economical parking management, route guidance on the premises and the operation of e‑charging stations. In addition, it can be used in the areas of energy management, new work and smart lighting. The qprem app can be integrated into already existing systems in an uncomplicated and technically simple manner and makes the data obtained in each case available to the system provider. Long-term and sustainable energy-saving processes can be derived from the generated data.
“Digitisation is also advancing in the industrial and logistics real estate sector and opens up a wide range of added values for users through an intelligent and modern infrastructure. With the implementation of qprem in ‘Mach2’, we have been able to identify a real showcase for the solution, which we also want to use to convince future users,” comments Francisco J. Bähr, managing partner of Four Parx.
Four Parx developed “Mach2” together with the asset manager AEW and the general contractor GSE Deutschland with direct proximity to the port of Hamburg. With the realisation of the property, Four Parx is setting new standards for the development of innovative space and building concepts in cities and metropolitan areas. It provides its tenants with 123,000 m² of total usable space on two equally usable floors.
“Mach2” is already fully let before completion. The fixed users so far are the international aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the furnishing company JYSK and Bechtle AG, the largest German IT system house and one of the leading IT e‑commerce providers. Another tenant will be communicated by Four Parx in the coming weeks.
